"I'll always be on top in Bollywood, whether my films do well or not," we heard SRK saying this to a journo at a press meet. His comment comes in the wake of his alleged
fall out with Yash Raj films, follwed by the 'tiff' with Bachchans and now unfair comparison with Abhishek.
"Why does everyone compete with me? First Hrithik, now Abhishek. I have been here 16 years – when will people get it? Why pitch youngsters against me and put that
pressure on them," he asks.
About his alleged bust-ups with Ram Gopal Varma he says,"I can't force him to work with me, it's his choice.. He calls me, we negotiate a meeting, he narrates the story to
me, we make an agreement and then they change their minds and tell the press. So I say OK.
"Ramu and I went through this and then he called me and said 'I don't think you trust me. I think I should go ahead with the project with someone else'.
Just after the release of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (KANK) on August 11, Shahrukh Khan will leave for Mauritius. Zayed Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Celina Jaitley, and Malaika
Arora will also be part of the show.
Notwithstanding, some very few interviews here and there, during and after the shooting of KANK the King Khan deliberately stayed away from the media. However, it seems,
once the movie is released SRK will let himself loose with rock-n-roll in Mauritius.
Along with the spate of stars Pop Band Bombay Vikings will also join Shahrukh Khan for the show. The organizer of the event Sanjeev Sookun informs, "Mauritius has many
Bollywood fans, hence we decided to hold such a show."
Shahrukh Khan will reach Mauritius on August 11, exactly after a week Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (KANK) releases worldwide. Noted choreographer Ganesh Hegde will
conduct the show. Many of SRK's super hit movies like Zamana Deewana, Baazigar, Duplicate, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai are shot in this beautiful island.
