Arjun Kapoor has given a thumbs up to Virat Kohli's recent tweet on former girlfriend Anushka Sharma.

The 'Ki & Ka' star said Anushka and Virat deserve respect. "You got to respect @imVkohli as a person for his post today... @AnushkaSharma is the most decent and correct person and she deserves respect!!," Arjun, 30, posted on Twitter.

The Indian cricketer lashed out at social media trolls for targeting Anushka, saying that those who blame her for anything negative in his cricket career should be ashamed of themselves.

"Shame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated," Kohli wrote.

Anushka Sharma has been subjected to trolling in the past as well, most notably after Virat Kohli flopped in the ODI World Cup semifinal against Australia last year.
