Tara Alisha Berry, who will next will be seen in filmmaker Vikram Bhatt's 'Love Games', says she is reluctant to be called a bold actress.

"I am quite averse to the word bold. 'Love Games' is a film that shows reality. We all know swingers in Bollywood are something that is rampant all over," Tara said at the press conference of the urban-thriller film, which also stars 'Citylights' actress Patralekha.

Talking about her preparations for her role in the film, Tara said: "Without Vikram sir's guidance, I don't think I could pull this off. I had to really dive deep into the pain within myself, which I really did not know existed.

`When I came back, (Mahesh) Bhatt saab said something to me which I won't forget. He said 'I've scratched the surface and there is lot more there.' On the last day of shoot, Vikram sir told me, 'Don't be afraid to feel pain'."

Tara, who has earlier starred in films like 'Mastram' and 'The Perfect Girl', confessed she was scared to explore herself before doing the film. But she says it "opened me up`.

"I hope that I get the chance in future to exploit everything within me on celluloid. I have grown up in Bangalore and Mumbai. Therefore, there is nothing sensational for me in terms of open relationship and sexual intimacy," she said.

"All these things are open in my life since my childhood. I know myself and I know that I would work well in monogamous old school kind of relationship. But I would not like to judge anybody as I said I've grown up around people who engage in this kind of relationship," she added.

Produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt 'Love Games' is slated to release April 8.
