On the final day of T20 Cricket World Cup 2016, Amitabh Bachchan funnily mentions his plans for the next cup.

Bollywood and cricket undoubtedly have a massive fan following in India. But what happens when one of the biggest Bollywood stars gets hit by the cricket fever? On the day of the final match between England and West Indies, Big B has posted a picture of him playing cricket on the set of one of his films and captioned it as, `Prepping for the next World Cup T20 I .. !!`


Interestingly, he became a part of this year's T20 World Cup by singing the national anthem in Kolkata before the much anticipated India-Pakistan match there. But that's not all. On the day when India lost to West Indies in the semi-final, he had tweeted, `T 2192 - Dubbing 'TE3N'; photo shooting Cine Blitz; releasing book .. and mourning India's loss .. all in a day !!`

He had also expressed his sorrow when India lost the match. He had posted, `When 3 C&B of the opposition are declared 'no balls', you know its not your day ! Well played India ! Next one we'll get them !!`

Bachchan also said something about the commentators. `On cricket commentary again : some commentators talk ABOUT the batsman ; some talk TO them .. !! subtle !` he tweeted.

And not to be forgotten, he posted pictures of one of his fans Chris Gayle when the cricketer had come to meet him. He said: `Large left over cut outs of my 70th birthday celebration in drive way of my office, and THE MAN Chris Gayle`
