After the super success of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' (2015), Kabir Khan is said to be ready with his next project and it will star none other than Salman Khan. The yet-to-be-titled film would be their third collaboration - the filmmaker-actor duo had teamed up for the first time for 'Ek Tha Tiger' (2012).
Says a source, "The jodi of Kabir and Salman has delivered big at the box office and the trade circles are now buzzing with news of their next film together. An Eid 2017 release is being targeted. They expect fireworks yet again."
'Ek Tha Tiger' broke all box office records the year it released, grossing over Rs 200 crore within a fortnight. 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', on the other hand, made more than Rs 330 crore and was adjudged the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment at the 63rd National Awards, which were announced last week.
The source adds: "The script has been locked and Salman recently gave his nod to Kabir. Their upcoming project is likely to go on floors by the end of this year."
Kabir Khan remained unavailable for comment.
