Several Bollywood personalities chose to stay away from the big night, even though they were extended the invitation.

Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were among the ones who chose to give the gala a miss. In fact, Bebo and Saif chose to throw a bash at their residence which was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.

SRK, Alia, Sonam, KJo, Parineeti and Farhan headed to Saif's house straight from the gala event. Interestingly, Bebo's spokesperson had earlier told hitlist that she would be missing the charity gala as she will be in Bangkok shooting for a commercial and Saif had `other commitments`.


While Abhishek is still nursing his bad back, the senior Bachchan had not given a commitment to attend the do.
