The sequel to Subhash Kapoor's National Award winning courtroom drama Jolly LLB (2013), is all set to go on floors and if the latest buzz is to be believed, Arshad Warsi will not be a part of it. The makers are planning to get either Saif Ali Khan or Akshay Kumar on board instead.
Says a source, `The first part got rave reviews from critics and audience alike and the makers are keen that the second part is bigger and better. Therefore, they are contemplating between approaching Akshay and Saif to essay the lead role.`
A source working on the project confirms the story and adds, `The script of the sequel is locked and casting is underway. Once things are finalised an official announcement will be made.`
When contacted director Subhash Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and producers' spokesperson remained unavailable for comment. Sometime back, there was buzz that Paresh Rawal will replace Boman Irani, who played the defence lawyer in the first part.
