Randeep Hooda's last outing, 'Laal Rang', didn't manage to set cash registers ringing at the box office, but the actor was applauded for his performance. Now, we hear that Hooda has reworked his remuneration and is now charging a cool Rs 3 crore per film.
According to a source, "Randeep has always been praised for his acting abilities and currently, a number of filmmakers want to work with him. He was charging somewhere between Rs 1.5-2 crore per film but has now upped his price."
A source close to the actor confirms the news and says, "Several people from the industry feel that he deserves this hike as he has worked really hard for the position he's at. The actor has raised his remuneration by almost 75 per cent."
In fact, the buzz suggests that the actor was offered a hefty amount just to play villain in the Pawan Kalyan's Sardar Gabbar Singh but the actor turned the film down. Hooda remained unavailable for comment.
