The veteran actor has apparently reached out to Prateik to laud him for coming out drugs.

Prateik, who has been seen in films like Ekk Deewana Tha (2012) and Dhobi Ghat (2010), recently confessed about coming out of drugs and wanting to start his career on a newer note. Interestingly, veteran actor Tabu has reached out to him to show support.

Sources close to the young actor reveal that Tabu messaged him to laud him for getting past that phase. "She wrote to Prateik that she is happy to see him realize his mistake and that he is back to work. She has also conveyed her support to him."

Interestingly, after Prateik confessed and assured to have come out drugs, he is also being approached for brand endorsements.

"He recently shot for a mobile campaign with Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Next he will be endorsing an online shopping portal," adds the source.
