Actor Saif Ali Khan is very much a part of Salman Khan's upcoming film 'Jugalbandi', sources have said.

The industry was abuzz with news of actor Fawad Khan having replaced Saif in Salman Khan's 'Jugalbandi'.

"We have not approached Fawad Khan. We did not go to him (Fawad). It is not true that Fawad is doing the film. Saif is very much part of the film," sources said.

'Jugalbandi', directed by Sameer Sharma of 'Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurrana' fame, is produced by Salman Khan Films and also stars Anil Kapoor.

"The work on the script is still on. Work is in progress. The shoot for this film might begin this year," sources said.Saif and Anil previously worked together in 'Race' and 'Race 2'.

The 'Hum Tum' actor is likely to play the part of a London-based music agent in the film, while Anil will enact a music teacher.

Saif is busy working on Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Rangoon', while Anil is occupied with his popular television show '24'.
