Naseer, a three-time National award-winning actor, on Friday, allegedly took potshots at Kher, who has been vocal about his fight for Kashmiri Pandits, especially their rehabilitation in the Valley, saying, "A person who has never lived in Kashmir has started a fight for Kashmiri Pandits. Suddenly, he became a displaced person."
In response, Kher tweeted, "By that logic, NRIs should not think about India at all".
Shah Saab ki Jai Ho. By that logic NRI's should not think about India at all.:) Naseeruddin Shah on Anupam Kher https://t.co/UtQrtZ66we

Does it matter who is fighting or what is he fighting for? Wud hav been glad if Naseeruddin had fought as well
Going by this logic, only Gujarathi should talk about Gujarat riots.. @AnupamPkher pic.twitter.com/rkSGFoFXpe

You don't have to be Kashmiri to fight for #KashmiriPandits plight.Every Indian should condemn the brutality and support their resettlement.

Naseer, however, denied making the statement about Kher, and told ANI that 'this is all misreporting'
I have not said any such thing, this is all misreporting :Naseeruddin Shah on his statement on Anupam Kher pic.twitter.com/8mNABd6cHc

Kher too said that he had spoken to Shah to clarify the matter, and said that the latter denied making that statement.
