Shah Rukh Khan, Badshah of Bollywood, has been appointed by Jet Airways India Ltd as an additional director in its board.

keeping in view his celebrity status and candyfloss image, which Jet hopes will help maintain their image as the country's number one airlines despite all the controversies
surrounding it in recent times.
King Khan will be the third person from the film fraternity to be associated with Jet Airways, the other two being producer and director Yash Chopra, and lyricist and
screenplay writer Javed Akhtar.
Shah Rukh's film ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' has been released recently and is doing great buisness all around the world. He will be next seen in the remake of Amitabh
Bachchan starrer ‘Don'.
Jet's rival airlines Air Sahara, which Jet tried to acquire, also has filmstars Aishwarya Rai and Amitabh Bachchan in its board of directors.
Shah Rukh Khan's induction immediatly brought good results as Jet Airways scrip went up by 2.40 per cent to Rs 588.60 on the BSE on Tuesday, against the previous
day's closing of Rs 574.80.
