Superstar Salman Khan's style and chilled out persona is the inspiration behind music director duo Vishal Dadlani- Shekhar Ravjiani's "Sultan" album.

Dadlani, 42, said they enjoyed their first outing with Salman as the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor did not interfere in their work.

"This is the first time we are working with Salman Khan. Salman heard the songs after we were done with the composing. He was kind enough to not to make too many changes. He was the inspiration for 'Baby ko Bass Pasand Hai' song. He was encouraging through out," he told PTI in an interview.

"When Salman performs song onscreen, especially which are full of masti like party and dance songs, he has a certain sort of flair. He has got a swag that we tried to maintain throughout the album."

Dadlani said film's director Ali Abbas Zafar played a pivotal role in helping them to compose the music for the wrestling drama.

"No film's album can happen without the director's input. The director is everything. He is the person, who has the initial concept of the music. He also has the grip on the story that the song needs to tell and eventually the director is the one, who chooses a song."

The music album of the Yash Raj Films' Salman and Anushka Sharma-starrer "Sultan" comprises of soulful, romantic and peppy numbers.

"We make songs according to the story of the film. Wherever the director sees a song in the film, he asks us to get it. When varied emotions cope up in the film, the songs also move in that direction. It reflects all of that."

The music composer duo is excited to team up again with Yash Raj after a long gap.

"Shekhar and I were excited because we were coming to Yash Raj after a long time and similarly we never worked with Ali (Ali Abbas Zafar) before this film. So, all these were exciting elements for us. We dedicated a lot of time and put great efforts in the film."

According to him, there are two songs which are the soul of this album.

"One is 'Jag Ghoomeya'. It is a nostalgic song of love. And the other one is 'Bulleya'. This one is a heart touching qawwali about unrequited love. These two are beautiful songs of this album."

Besides composing the music, Dadlani has also lent his voice in "Tuk Tuk" and "Baby ko Bass Pasand Hai".

"Sultan" will hit the theaters this Eid.
