Zareen Khan will be skipping an upcoming awards ceremony in Spain since she is keeping vigil at her mother's bedside.

Her mother, Parveen Khan, recently underwent heart surgery. The actress was constantly by her mom's side during her 10-day stay at the hospital. Now she has made special arrangements at home for her recovery by hiring a caretaker as well as a nutritionist.
