Amitabh Bachchan is said to be under the weather and has postponed some of his commitments

Monsoon has arrived, and so has the menace of season change. Amitabh Bachchan, we hear, is down with viral fever and has pushed back some of his commitments until he recovers completely.

A source says, `Mr Bachchan is on rest since he has been running a temperature for a while. It is just viral fever and nothing serious. His doctor has advised him to avoid over-exertion, so he is off work for a few days.`

The star was supposed to meet the makers of Aankhen 2 to discuss the film's launch and shoot schedule, but he has put that on hold, says the source, adding, `He will, in all likelihood, catch up with them by the end of this week and allot dates for the film, which is slated to roll out in July. However, since he is on rest, it is likely to be delayed by a few days.`

Last weekend, Big B was present at a Pro Kabaddi League match to cheer for son Abhishek Bachchan's team along with Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.

A source close to the star says, `He is doing much better now.`
