After catching a glimpse of newcomer Saiyami Kher's work in the trailer of 'Mirzya', Shabana Azmi is all praise for her niece. The veteran actress and social activist says Saiyami seems as confident as a seasoned actor.

Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's upcoming directorial 'Mirzya' also marks the debut of Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan.

`The trailer of 'Mirzya' tantalises, teases and shows you glimpses that make you hunger for more. Saiyami is fresh as a dewdrop. Newcomers? Nay they make confident debuts seen only in seasoned actors. Can't wait to watch the film,` Shabana, a veteran actress acclaimed for her power-packed performances, said in a statement.

Mehra's directorial is inspired by the tale of the legend of Mirza-Sahiban and is touted to be an epic action-romance set in contemporary times.

The film is slated to hit the screens on October 7.
