If reports are to be believed then on day 2, 'Sultan' witnessed packed houses all across, and raked in approx. Rs 38-40 crore.
Reports further suggest that with its second-day collection now 'Sultan' is pouncing towards elite '100 crore club' really fast. If 'Sultan' manages to keep this momentum even on day 3 then there are ample chances that it will cross the Rs 100 crore mark within three days of its release.

There is no denying that whenever Salman has released his film on the festive occasion of Eid, records have fallen like a house of cards, producers have earned money, and paying audience has gone home happy. With the opening collections of 'Sultan', Salman who already has 9 of his movies in 100 crore club has once again proved that he is the true Sultan of BO.

As 'Sultan' is literally galloping towards Rs 100 crore club, trade analysts are expecting that this Salman starrer will earn over Rs 150 crore in the first weekend, and may even emerge as the biggest BO grosser of Bollywood.
#Sultan should comfortably cross ₹ 100 cr on Fri [Day 3], IF it maintains the same momentum... Sat + Sun biz should add to the HUGE total.

Till now, the biggest weekend grosser is Salman's last release 'Prem Rattan Dhan Payo' that managed earn Rs 129.7 crore business, despite adverse reviews from the critics.
Now, if 'Sultan' manages to destroy that record, then Salman will indeed be the 'Sultan of Bollywood'.
