Saqib Saleem brought home a three-year-old labrador retriever named Streak this Eid. He says his "entire family is really thrilled at his arrival".

The brother of actress Huma Qureshi is extremely fond of dogs. He has adopted the dog from a friend.

"They say that a dog is a man's best friend and Streak is already on his way to becoming mine... We are getting to know and understand each other," Saqib said in a statement.

He added: "Not just me but my entire family is really thrilled at his arrival, we are all already competing for his attention."

On the professional front, the 28-year-old actor will be seen playing a cricketer in the upcoming film 'Dishoom'.
