According to an insider, Mukta Arts and Sanjay Dutt Productions have entered into an agreement to produce Khalnayak Returns by the end of this year. The script is currently in its final stage and the casting for the same is underway. Rumors had said that Tiger Shroff is going to be a part of the yesteryear blockbuster film's sequel but the legend director has cleared the air.
Spilling more details, Director Subhash Ghai said, `Yes it's confirmed Mukta Arts and Sanjay Dutt Productions have made an agreement to produce Khalnayak Returns by 2016 end. Sanjay will play Ballu Balram who comes out jail after 20 years and the rest it what happens next. We are working on the script and once it's complete we will announce the rest of cast and credits. We are looking out for a well-known production with a young Director and an exciting cast.
We have not signed Tiger Shroff as it's rumored; we are still waiting to complete the script and will take a call for the rest of cast once it's over. There is a lot of excitement around and we are also waiting for the right time to announce the further developments.
Khalnayak is one of the classic cult movies which received great success at the box office in 90s. With so much of hard work and excitement around its sequel, it will surely be something to know who is going star in it.
