The legacy of Sharma khandan continuous! Many years back on 14th July, K.C. Sharma gave the Indian Film Fraternity a Director, Writer and think tank who changed the sphere of Bollywood with his cult directorial-- Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and continued to create history with each and every film on celluloid. From Shradhanjali to Singh Sahab the Great, Director Anil Sharma has redefined mainstream commercial cinema, also has been the only director in Bollywood who has launched seven well known Bollywood actress, to name some- Priyanka Chopra, Zarine Khan, Ameesha Patel, Divya Kumar Khosla, Urvashi Rautela and many more.

Elaborating the importance of 14th July in his life, Anil Sharma says "14th July holds a very emotional place in my heart. Many years back, my father laid his trust in me and gave me a platform to entertain audience with my vision. It's his trust in me that today I have so many hits to my credit. Continuing the legacy further, I chose the same date to announce the debut of my son Utkarsh Sharma in Bollywood with my next film Genius. Co incidentally, my daughter was born on 14th July which makes the day further more special".

Well, having completed over 15 years since its release, the young actor is all grown-up now and looks every bit dashing!

Having made his first appearance in the film Gaddar: Ek Prem Katha, the director's son who stole several awards and won the appreciation of several others for his power-packed performance is all set to mark his foray in Bollywood with the film `Genius` directed by Anil Sharma.

The film `Genius` which will go on floors from Novemwnr December will star Utkarsh Sharma in the lead role. The film will mark the debut of two fresh faces. Apart from Utkarsh Sharma, the makers of the film are exploring options for the leading lady who will star as the lead actress in the film.

Elaborating further about his son Utkarsh Sharma's debut, Anil Sharma says "Utkarsh will soon make his foray in Bollywood. From a director's point of view, he is one of those rare intelligent actors who not only understands the craft but also explores his credentials and strives to deliver nothing but the best. The reason behind his launch is not that he is my son but the fact that has the potential to become an actor and then a star"
