Neil Nitin Mukesh is dropped from a web series over alleged interference in creative decisions...

An upcoming comedy web series, Shaadi Boys, has lost (or, shall we say, got rid of) its "inspiration". The three central characters on the e-show are named after Neil Nitin Mukesh - the actor, too, had a key role and was supposed to play himself.

However, now we hear, he has been ousted following creative differences with the production team.

A source says, "Neil had an interesting role in the series. After hearing out the script, he insisted on a few changes, but the makers were in no mood to give in to his demand. They did not appreciate Neil wanting to take control of creative aspects."

An argument followed and the creative team decided to scrap his role from Shaadi Boys. Spokesperson of the production house remained unavailable for comment while Neil claims he wasn't ousted. He says, "I refused to be part of it [the series] even without hearing it [the script]. I have no clue what this is about."
