Richa Chadha has played many strong characters till date but Devi was one kind of a role which completely changed things for her in terms of way people looked at her. She is known for playing roles which are very tough and on the face but Devi's character was very subtle.

Masaan didn't only get her Indian recognition but also international recognition; she also became a prominent name in France and also in other parts of Europe. Now when Masaan has completed one year Richa Chadha feels like this movie changed things for her and she is very grateful to have done that film which has created a landmark in Indian cinema after it won awards at Cannes last year.

Richa Chadha is the only Bollywood actress to have gone to Cannes three times in a row. We are now eager to see the role she plays in her upcoming film Love Sonia. When asked Richa she said, "Masaan will always be a special film for me.

It changed me as a person, and gave me a circle of friends that I not only adore but respect too. It also made me witness the moment of a lifetime, where we experienced a 5 minute long standing ovation"
