Another very taboo topic, especially in India is one of menstruation with a whole lot of myths surrounding the subject. Some as absurd as beliefs about pickle getting spoilt, women not being allowed to touch them or enter holy spaces. Even advertising has been guilty of the same old cliches and phrases of `those days` and the same old tropes of women then in `active` situations. This week Durex and Y-Films` unique 5-part fictional web-series - Sex Chat with Pappu & Papa - turns it`s attention to periods & pads. The women of the house, mumma played by the beautiful Sanjeeda Shaikh and dadi, Dum Lagaa Ke Haisha`s Alka Amin step up to rescue Papa as Pappu mistakes a sanitary pad for a napkin that he uses to blow his nose!

Also starring Anand Tiwari, Kabir Sajid and veteran Sachin Pilgaonkar, the series marks the directorial debut of Ashish Patil, Head of Y-Films and has been written by Gopal Datt & Devang Kakkad with story development by Amritpal Bindra & Anand Tiwari. The story revolves around the Watsa family, featuring a curious 7-year-old boy, Pappu - who shoots the most outrageous questions to his Papa, Anand. Who attempts to answer them to the best of his ability - initially with a lot of awkwardness and eventually with a lot of fun, simple anecdotes. All this while his own father - the very traditional, conservative and possibly `khadoos` Pitaji - keeps questioning his actions. The series has also been doing some smart cross-promoting with characters from all other Y-Films shows doing cameos - and this episode sees Man`s World lead Kiran played by Gaurav Pandey in a fun special appearance too.

This is the first time that a series is launching in 15 languages. It`s set to be dubbed in 6 Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali and also subtitled in 10 International languages including English, Chinese, French, Dutch, Spanish, German, Bahasa, Malay and Thai to begin with to get this important message out to as many people as possible.
