In Indian law, I just feel that the law for women rights should be stricter, because in some cities there are lots of crime happening against women. In our system female victims have to wait for hours to lodge their complaints, due to long and complicated procedures. Hence I feel that we should have such laws, which can make any miscreant think 100 times before committing any crime. But I am happy that nowadays not only educational institutions, but also the citizens celebrates Independence Day by hoisting flags, I salute those who made sacrifices for the freedom, so that we can breathe in a free environment.
Payal Ghosh: It's a historic day for India and as a proud Indian, I feel proud and salute all our freedom fighters for achieving this " Tryst with Destiny", that finally won freedom from the British rule after a long struggle. I celebrate the day by hoisting the national flag in my locality and by helping the under privileged people.
All Indians are free to celebrate and enjoy their Independence as enshrined in our Constitution, and it doesn't require any new law. On the hindsight, in some cases it seems that some Indians are misusing that liberty and freedom by creating rift along the lines of caste, creed and religion. According to me, we need to have a law to curb such malpractices.
Nazia Hussain: For me Independence Day means freedom, freedom of religion, freedom to worship, freedom to follow my beliefs. I am thankful to all those men and women who sacrificed everything for our freedom. I feel proud to be an Indian and I feel happy that got the privilege of growing up here.
Right to Education is one of the must have human rights, and I feel that each and every one should get a chance to attend some educational institution. In our country such places still exist, where you can see lil kids working on streets, due to lack of education facilities. I think every Indian should get at least that much education, which can enable him to judge that what is right for him and what is not. I feel each and every citizen should participate and support this law and make India bigger and brighter country.
Mahika Sharma: Independence to anyone means a lot. Today we enjoy and live our life so independently, because some great individuals relinquished their everything for a brighter future of this country. The day hence has its own significance. This day reminds me of the love people had for their nation. A person like me will always live this day understanding the value of freedom and celebrating it being social.
Indian law is absolute for everyone. But as everything have merits and demerits. Therefore, it's on us that how we use our freedom and laws. But yeah government is working really hard for establishing security and prosperity in our lives.
