Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, who will be seen in a gutsy role in upcoming action drama Akira, is now enthused to feature in a sports-based movie. `I was very active in sports during my school and college days. I used to participate in volleyball, basketball, swimming, shot put, discus throw... I was a good player.
`So, of course, if I get a chance, I will surely do a sports film,` Sonakshi said here while promoting `Akira` on the set of Savdhaan India. She also said she misses indulging in sports, but tries to make time for tennis or volleyball once in a while.
`I hope if I get a role, I will do that (on screen),` she added. Her film Akira is a remake of Tamil film Mouna Guru and is directed by A.R. Murugadoss. The film is set to hit theatres on September 2. Besides that, she is also filming for Noor and Force 2.
Meanwhile, actor-director Arbaaz Khan has neither confirmed nor denied reports of Sonakshi Sinha being part of Dabangg 3. While there have been reports that Sonakshi will not be part of the third instalment of `Dabangg`, Arbaaz says it's not completely true.
When asked about the same, Arbaaz told IANS: `There is nothing like that... The script is not ready. There will be changes in the film and there could be an introduction of some actors.`
He said that it's `not completely true that Sonakshi is not going to be part of Dabangg 3. `It all depends on the script. You got to move on and make something interesting for the audience,` he added.

`You have to be very careful of how you don't lose the connect with the audience by not having Sonakshi and how you give something new to the audience,` he added. Sonakshi was launched in Bollywood with the blockbuster film Dabangg in 2010. The actress went on to be part of Dabangg 2, which was directed by Arbaaz.
