Purab Kohli is going to be seen in an almost unrecognisable avatar in his next project! Nikhil Advani's TV series in which Purab essays the lead role for which he had to work hard to look like a prisoner. Purab essays the role of a prisoner who escapes the prison 17 years after he was falsely acquitted with his partner played by Satyadeep Mishra. The show is set to go on air from 14th October! Apart from this different avatar, Purab will also be seen sporting a new and different look in an army uniform. Now who doesn't like men in uniform? Purab Kohli , KD from Rock on 2 has also shot for Nikhil Advani's TV series for which he has a totally opposite look. In Rock On 2, Purab has a very rough look that of a drummer of a band and on the other hand he plays the role of a Punjabi Army officer in Nikhil Advani's show which is an official adaptation of Homeland.

We hear Purab has had to work really hard on the show as it required for him to transform during the course of the shooting while the shoot has been on since the past three months. In fact Purab has had to ensure that the makers of his other projects are okay with his look, as the requirements for his role was very specific! A lot of research, time and efforts have gone into Purab's looks including the look as a Sardaar Army officer.
