Ranveer Singh is having the time of his life. The actor has not only had a great run at the box-office but he is also the undisputed king of social media in India. And now the actor adds another feather to his already crowded cap.

Ranveer is toplining the list of Indian performers at the Global Citizen 2016 festival, being held in Mumbai, Ranveer will share the stage with global stars like Coldplay and Jay Z. This six-hour concert will feature live musical performances, stars, dancing, PSAs and short films by eminent filmmakers.


The actor, a livewire on stage, will perform to a medley of his hits. Says a source, `With this performance, Ranveer follows up on his recent stage performance alongside Major Lazer. He was one of the most obvious choices to open for Coldplay.`

World leaders like UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and global influencers will speak here on this global initiative's advocacy against extreme poverty.

The Global Citizen Movement partners with the UN, UNICEF, World Bank and Gates Foundation on the issue of poverty alleviation. Leading global and Indian artists will collaborate to build awareness and youth engagement in the fight against poverty with this concert.
