Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan may join hands with Percept Picture Company (PPC) for co-producing ''Johnny Walker'' in which he plays the lead protagonist.

Commenting on the development, Mr Bachchan said,''I am very excited to be a part of the film ''Johnny Walker'' and I am looking forward to working with Percept Picture Company (PPC). I feel that ''Johnny Walker'' has the potential to cut across global audiences.

The final logistics are being worked on for the production of this film. AB Corp is also looking at the possibility of doing a joint venture with PPC for this film.'' PPC has announced its most ambitious and significant film titled ''Johnny walker'', a relationship drama to be directed by Shoojit Sircar.

''The film is based on an engaging script meticulously developed for Bachchan by some of the best professionals in the business,'' Mahesh Ramanathan, Chief Operating Officer of PPC said.

He said, ''Johnny Walker'' is a script that has been created and written by the in house team at PPC and finally shaped by Renzil D'Silva, the writer of Rang De Basanti. In the script, the focal point of the film is Mr Bachchan himself. PPC's creative team has been involved from the concept level to the development of the narrative.

The film is based on fundamental human relationships and makes for one of the most touching climaxes seen in Indian cinema, he added.

Shoojit Sircar, director of the movie, says, ''Johnny Walker'' is a love story that begins where most other love stories end. It is a film about love, regret and hope. Most of all it is a film about second chances''.
