On Wednesday, Hrithik Roshan took to Twitter to share a picture of Lord Ganesha sporting a 'Krrish' avatar. Hrithik Roshan wrote, "Ganpati blessings for KRRISH4 :)) hope everyone is enjoying the festivities. Love to all."

Hrithik Roshan's tweet fuelled speculation of the fourth instalment in the superhero series. 'Krrish 3' had released in 2013.
Putting a rest to rumours, Rakesh Roshan confirmed the development. Speaking to Times of India, the filmmaker said, "When my wife showed me Bappa's picture, it reaffirmed my belief that Krrish is the original superhero we have. It boosted my confidence and inspired me to make the fourth instalment."
The report further states that 'Krrish 4' is slated to go on floors next year and will be released during Christmas 2018.
The Christmas 2018 slot has already been booked by Shah Rukh Khan for his film with Aanand L Rai. Here's what Red Chillies had tweeted last month:
Excited to announce our film with @aanandlrai & @iamsrk in association with @cypplOfficial.Releasing Dec 21, 2018.Title to be revealed soon!

Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan are also set to clash next year with 'Raees' and 'Kaabil' releasing on January 26. Despite SRK's efforts to avoid the clash and a late night visit to Hrithik's house, the battle is on.
Rakesh Roshan also said in the interview, "Only a few days of patchwork is left. We'll be ready to release it on January 26, 2017."
Fans must be excited for 'double dose' of SRK and Hrithik. Who do you think has the upper hand in the box office battle?
