Recently legendary singer Lata Mangeshkarji celebrated her 87th birthday, on the occasion of her birthday she was interviewed briefly by one of the leading news papers.

She was asked during the interview that she has sung for so many actresses till now, what does she think of today's generation of actresses.

So Lataji was full of praise for Shraddha Kapoor. She considers Shraddha a very talented actress.

She further added that Padmini Kolhapure & Shivangi (Shraddha's mother) father was Lataji's aunt's son, they had spent their childhood together, so Shraddha is like a granddaughter to her.

Lata Mangeshkarji said she has not seen Shraddhas films but she feels proud when people praise Shraddha's acting.
