Bonding with friends on a trip is a different experience. That is what Parineeti Chopra enjoyed during her recent trip to the US, where she was touring with film-maker Karan Johar and fellow actors Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Aditya Roy Kapur and rapper Badshah. The group performed at several concerts, which were held in the cities of Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City and Orlando. Parineeti calls it `the most amazing trip` and `a life-changing experience`.

`I truly have so much respect and love for Katrina, Alia, Varun, Adi and Sid. Karan, who was the father figure, gave us so much love. We were so emotional on the last day. We all cried on the stage. We didn't want the tour to end. The show was a resounding success and it was jam- packed. The fact that this was a work trip was a bonus,` she says.

The Ishaqzaade (2012) actor adds that because they shared such good camaraderie, it showed in their performances on stage. `We were in love with each other. We travelled, ate, rehearsed, performed together and even took care of each other. We were literally together 24/7. Till today, we miss each other so much and text each other every day,` says Parineeti, adding, `It was like a school trip. No one let each other out of their sight. We would wake each other up in the morning. When we had some free time, we would go for a walk. We had three days off, and we didn't even make our own separate plans.`
