The victim, Akhtar Qureshi, is a cellphone dealer. Around 2.30 AM, Qureshi and two of his friends were travelling in an Audi when they noticed Shera near his car at Indian Oil Nagar. Qureshi's acquaintance, one Ajay, wanted to speak to Shera on phone. "Qureshi handed over the phone to Shera who had an argument with Ajay. After the phone call ended, Shera allegedly hit Qureshi with the butt of his pistol. Shera's aides then allegedly attacked Qureshi with an iron rod. He has received an injury to his collar bone and has been hospitalised," said a police official.
According to Shera, during that verbal argument, shera ki zubaan uska driver chala raha tha! :)
The police said they are trying to verify the authenticity of the incident and will go through CCTV footage of the crime scene. Shera's statement is being recorded. Shera is very close to Salman Khan and is considered family by the actor. A case under section 326 of IPC has been slapped against Shera.
