It would be an understatement to say Deepika Padukone's movies with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali - Goliyon Ki Raasleela RamLeela (2013) and Bajirao Mastani (2015) - have done well at the box office.

Besides earning critical acclaim, the actress has managed to connect with audiences across the country with her films. And now, Deepika, who is currently working with the director on a third project, has struck a chord with the people of Rajashtan with her new avatar - Rani Padmavati.

'Padmavati' has been creating all the right noise where Deepika is playing the role of the beautiful Rani Padmavati, in the film based on dramatized account of the 1303 siege of Rajasthan.
