Raima Sen who is juggling between Mumbai, Kolkata and International destinations will have an exciting 2017 with as many as 5 releases scheduled throughout the year. Raima's last hindi release was the critically acclaimed film 'Bollywood Diaries'. Raima won many accolades for her acting in Bollywood Diaries including some International Awards.

Raima who's working in Bengali, Hindi & English movies is known for her choice of work like Chokher Bali, Parineeta, Manorama Six Feet Under, The Japanese Wife, Mirch, Nouka Dubi, Maach Mishti & More, Children of War, Bollywood Diaries, etc. She made her debut with Godmother in 1999 and till then done over a 55 films. She has also taken the leap from being an actress to a producer and also started an innovative platform like NetFlix titled BongFlix to distribute Bangla content to Bengalis living abroad. Her first production feature film titled 'Mi Amore' (meaning my love in Spanish) was appreciated at the festival of Globe in USA and going to be premiered at the Busan International Film Festival. Most of Raima's work has been critically acclaimed. Her Bangla film 'Basstushaap' has been selected for IFFI 2016 alongside films like Natsamrat, Baahubali, Bajirao Mastani Airlift.

In 2016, Raima started working in Bollywood with renewed vigor; her Hindi film 3Dev is all set to release in early 2017. She is currently shooting for a 2 thrillers; one with Kay Kay Menon titled Vodka Diaries& Another titled & Varanasi co-starring Ravi Kisshen, Om Puri and Rahul Dev. She has also shot for an Indo- Argentinian film on the life of Tagore titled Thinking of Him which will be released in multiple languages in 2017.
