This was Sidharth's second trip to New Zealand and he left no stone unturned. He covered both, North and South Islands while exploring places such as Christchurch, Rotorua, Waitomo and Auckland. His tour began with a pleasant surprise meet with The Prime Minister of New Zealand, Rt Honourable John Key at the Auckland airport. Sidharth, who hosted Prime Minister Key in New Delhi last month, is known to share a great bond with him.
It only got better from there as he was welcomed in Christchurch by former Black Caps cricketers, Stephen Fleming and Brendon McCullum along with his fans in New Zealand who grooved to the tune of 'Kala Chashma' for him. Both the cricketers hosted Sidharth for a Bularangi Harley Davidson ride and a friendly cricket match at the Hagley Oval. To top it all, Sidharth an avid follower of rugby had the opportunity to meet his rugby inspiration former All Blacks Captain, Richie McCaw.
After spending memorable time with these sports legends, Sidharth moved to the next phase of the trip where he indulged in fun and adventurous activities such as luging at the Skyline Rotorua, ziplining through the native forest, jetboating on the Auckland harbour and the iconic Auckland bridge climb.
While enjoying this action packed journey, Sidharth made it a point to take some time out to unwind at luxury lodges Annandale and Huka Lodge and to get closer to the nature. A close encounter with hector dolphins, robin birds and penguins, made this animal lover truly content.
Sidharth Malhotra, who is a big fan of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, also grabbed this opportunity to visit the iconic Hobbiton Movie Set in Waikato.
A most immersive and deeply moving experience for Sidharth was to soak in the true Maori culture while visiting Te Puia anddonning the Maori cloak and posing as a Maori warrior at Mitai Maori Village.
Sidharth Malhotra who kept his fans back home updated with his social media posts full of breath-taking views and fun activities, said, "New Zealand never fails to surprise and impress.
