The song, which has Sushmita in a rock star avatar, has been shot in Capitol Cinema, one of the oldest picture halls in Mumbai and stands as a relic from the British era.
The reason behind the choice of venue was that the song required an old world feel and the theatre provided the perfect ambience for it, said crewmembers.
Sushmita injured her back while shooting for this particular song and choreographer Farah Khan and director Tanuja Chandra were apprehensive about shooting it the second time.
They opted for a low-key method to picturise the song, as they feared the actress might injure herself again.
But Sushmita, being the strong woman that she is, gave it her all. She gave such an energetic and rocking performance that everyone was more than happy.
Producer Anurradha Prasad was all praise for Sushmita.
"As a true professional, Sushmita not only completed her work but was gracious enough to work overtime. I am looking forward to working with her again," said Anurradha.
The film, which also stars Shiney Ahuja, Kim Sharma, Moushumi Chatterjee and child actor Julian, is set for an Oct 6 release.
