Actor Varun Dhawan has confirmed the completion of shooting of his upcoming romantic film "Badrinath ki Dulhaniya".

"Yes Badrinath ki Dulhaniya has been wrapped up.It was not a party ,we just came to have food," he told media at the film's wrap-up party on Saturday.

Varun would be seen for the third time with actress Alia Bhatt in the film after "Student of the Year" and "Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya". Both will be performing in a remixed version of the old song "Tamma Tamma" in the film.

"Badrinath Ki Dulhania" is irected by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions banner.

Starring Varun, Alia and Gauhar Khan, the film marks the second installment of a franchise that began with "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" in 2014.

Shooting for the film began in May, and the film is currently slated to release on March 10, 2017.
