It's official. Actor Abhinav Shukla will join Zareen Khan and Gautam Rode as one of the three protagonists in Aksar 2, a sequel to the 2006 film starring Emraan Hashmi, Udita Goswami and Dino Morea.

Last seen in daily soap Diya Aur Baati Hum, he took a break from TV to focus on films. After the failure of his debut Bollywood project, Roar, he has now pinned his hopes on the upcoming project. The actor, who will play a rich Parsi guy in the film, has already started shooting for it.
