Earlier this week, a rather interesting twist in Kaabil's tale cropped up, with reports claiming that Netflix was to sue the movie's makers for plagiarism. Apparently, the streaming service was not too pleased with elements from Kaabil - including the visually challenged protagonist - resembling its series, Daredevil.
The story has taken a new turn with Netflix not only denying the charges that it planned to sue Kaabil's makers, but also ordered a thorough investigation to find the source of the story. The upcoming movie's producer, Rakesh Roshan says he's baffled, yet amused by the story. `Netflix negated this so-called news. They said it was a rumour and that they were going to find the source of it. Seeing the lighter side of this, it's free publicity for us anyway,` he laughs.
The makers recently released the remixed version of the old Amitabh Bachchan number, Saara Zamana, which is climbing up the music charts. For fans disappointed that Hrithik didn't showcase his dancing skills in this track, Rakesh has good news. `As far the dancing goes, we have another ace up our sleeves. Just wait till Hrithik's fans see him do the tango to Mon Amour, a dance number,` he signs off.
