Sunil Grover is all set to play India's `most controversial journalist` and do a one-on-one over a cup of coffee with the `most wanted gangster` of the nation, the man himself 'D' in his latest film, 'Coffee with D'. The makers of the film had released the trailer last Friday, that received a phenomenal response and has already crossed 2 million views in a span of just two days.
A comical satire, the trailer shows how Arnab Ghosh (Sunil Grover) decides to interview an underworld don - D, played by Zakir Hussain, to revive his failing career after getting slammed for his outlandish interviewing skills. The trailer is a laugh riot and the audience seems to be really applauding Vishal Mishra's brave attempt to project the current state of affairs with a pinch of comedy.
Talking about the amazing response the film has been receiving, Director Vishal Mishra said, `It is indeed overwhelming to have received such an amazing response. I have been very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such amazing actors in my debut film as a director and I am looking forward to catch the audiences' reaction on the 6th of January, when the film releases.`
The film stars Sunil Grover, Anjana Sukhani, Dipannita Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, Zakir Hussain and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles. An Apex Entertainment production, Coffee with D is directed by Vishal Mishra and produced by Vinod Ramani. The movie will hit the theatres on 6th January 2017.
