Last weekend saw the release of Deepika Padukone's big Hollywood debut, xXx: Return of Xander Cage release in India, one week prior to the global release.

Even though the film got a two day weekend here in India plus paid premieres on Friday evening, the film's weekend collection was the biggest compared to the other Hindi films that released and that too with a proper 3 day weekend.

xXx: Return of Xander Cage collected about 18 crs in the weekend. Meanwhile, Karan Johar's film, OK Jaanu which also release last weekend collected a total of 13.25 crs and Haraamkhor starring Nawazuddin Siddique collected a total of 1.01 crs in the same weekend.

Going by these figures, there is no doubt in stating that xXx: Return of Xander Cage remained the clear choice of majority of the audience.

This popular franchise film shows Deepika holding her own alongside a big Hollywood star, Vin Diesel.
