Many Bollywood actors including Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Anushka Sharma condemned the horrific molestation incident which took place in Bengaluru on new year's eve. Even Actor Ali Fazal was shocked by the incident and rather than just being angry, Ali took an initiative to start something that will actually help in his own family.

Since Ali has lot of young female members in his family between the age group of 14-18 years, he actually enrolled them for self-defence classes as he always believed that to make any change happen in society you will have to start from your own house. Instead of talking and being angry about it, he actually enrolled his nieces and cousins in his family for self-defence classes. It all started when Ali's cousin in London took up martial arts lesson and he was driven then to enrol his nieces in lucknow and Allahabad to learn martial arts and other self defence techniques available.

Speaking about it, Ali said, "I have done this in the midst of whats happening in our country. I wont lose hope and fly away to another destination. I think there r many promising things brewing in our land but right now we are to face the turmoil and the twisting. Education being at the centre of it all. I wish i cud fund moral education to all schools at once but the need of the hour specially for women folk is to kick some ass when required. So i have tried something. And i will fight it till we all as ONE community decide we must."

Well that's a great initiative taken by the actor and we hope that every girl should learn self-defence and more people take up this thought.
