Valentine's day is just around the corner and to celebrate this special occasion, 'Rangoon' kissing photo booths will be stationed across cinema halls, where couples who are willing to share their love story would have to recreate Kangana's character, Julia's passion, as seen on the 'Rangoon' poster.
Nothing expresses love better than a passionate kiss and couples who are successful in replicating the poster moment get a customised 'Rangoon' poster. This is indeed a really cute way of promoting the film on Valentine's day and will intrigue and attract fans in huge numbers.
The movie is an intense period drama revolving around love, deceit and war, set against the backdrop of World War II.
Kangana essays the role of the feisty, sultry actress Julia, who falls in love with two men at the same time. One is Saif who plays the dapper filmmaker Rusi Billimoria, and the other is Shahid who plays a soldier named Nawab Malik. Their simmering, passionate romance has been beautifully captured.
We also witness an intensified chemistry between Saif and Kangana, where we see glimpses of Saif's character showing possessiveness towards his lady love. 'Rangoon' has a Casablanca-like feeling to it and the audience is eagerly waiting to watch yet another masterpiece by Vishal Bhardwaj.
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banners of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, is all set to hit the theatres on February 24, 2017.
