Tanuja Chandra, a gifted and versatile Bollywood director, is all set to showcase two films in two different countries on the same day.

"Zindaggi Rocks", starring Sushmita Sen and Shiney Ahuja, is premiering in Mumbai Oct 4 and on the same day her English film "Hope And A Little Sugar" will be screened at the South Asian Film Festival in New York.

"I will be here for the premiere of 'Zindaggi Rocks' and will fly for "Hope And A Little Sugar" soon after. I'm glad that both my films are getting a grand opening and I hope the audience appreciates my efforts," said Chandra.

While "Zindaggi Rocks", produced by Anurradha Prasad's BAG films, is a typical Bollywood movie based on a rock star's life; "Hope And A Little Sugar" is about a Muslim-Sikh love story set in the backdrop of 9/11. It has American producers.

The thread between the two films is the Indian cast. Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Vikram Chatwal and newcomer Amit Cial feature in "Hope And..."
