Shabana Azmi

The versatile actress is regarded as one of the finest actresses in India. Rajkummar Rao

After starring in brief roles in several of the highly successful Hindi films of the following two years, he achieved success for his breakout role in 2013 with the drama film Kai Po Che! he was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actor and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Shahid Azmi in the biographical drama Shahid. Rao received critical acclaim for portraying a journalist in the biographical drama Aligarh, which earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at Filmfare. At such an early stage of his career Rajkummar will be seen in an International project 5 Weddings which is a slice of life drama and comedy where he will be sharing screen space with Nargis Fakri and Hollywood stars Bo Derek and Candy Clark. The film is directed by Namata Singh Gujral. With so quick developments in Rajkummar Rao's acting career surely makes him an instant contender for Oscars.
