Very few know that Taapsee's character in Baby was actually a sneak peak into Naam Shabana. The actress's character in Baby was concise yet sturdy which struck quite a chord with the audiences. On basis of this makers of Naam Shabana laid the roots of an entire film which is an extraction from Taapsee's character in Baby as audiences were keen to learn the backstory of her character.

After giving a glimpse of Taapsee's character in the Neeraj Pandey's directorial, her full story will now be told in Shivam Nair's directorial.

We witnessed Taapsee doing some authentic action in the previous film, although in Naam Shabana the actress is set to display some real action, we got to experience the same in the trailer of Naam Shabana which was released by the makers.

Defined to be the first of its kind, a spin off is being attempted in Bollywood and this has generated quite a buzz for the film. Moreso, team Baby too will be seen in Naam Shabana.

Baby had several memorable characters like Akshay Kumar playing Ajay Singh Rajput, Anupam Kher playing Shukla Ji, Rana Daggubati playing Jai Singh Rathore and Danny Denzongpa playing Feroze Khan. The film was credited by many as ushering in a new era of action-thrillers for Indian cinema.

With Naam Shabana, the team heads off for more daring missions as they put country before self yet again. The spin-off will see new characters emerge which are played by Manoj Bajpayee and Prithiviraj Sukumaran who join the Baby team for this outing.
