When asked about the film, Anil Kapoor shared that it is comedy family drama set in London and the audience is going to thoroughly enjoy it. He was further asked about his experience in the film, to which he says that he enjoyed working with the younger generation and he likes to give love and respect to everyone present on set.
When praised for his impeccable comic timing, the actor said that he was fortunate to work in the film as the script has good content and helped him perform the comic scenes better.
Arjun Kapoor, who is playing a double role for the first time, says that cine-goers will be able to relate to the film as it talks about family values, Indian culture and adds the new-age fun element too by the younger generation. He adds that director Anees Bazmee gives a lot of clarity to every scene, which makes an actor's job easier.
Director Anees Bazmee spoke about how he loves London and this is the first time he is shooting in the city after Anil and Arjun Kapoor suggested it. Athiya and Ileana also expressed their fondness for the city and spoke enthusiastically about the amount of fun they had while shooting for the film.
Mubarakan is produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Ashwin Varde & Murad Khetani's Cine 1 Studios and is all set to release on July 28, 2017.
