Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey, one of the finest actor-director combinations in Bollywood, have collaborated once again, this time in the capacity of producers, on Naam Shabana.

Akshay and Neeraj have together brought quality cinema to the audience with Special 26, Baby and Rustom, all of which have been garnered humongous response.

Naam Shabana, which is all set to release, it is a spin-off on Shabana, Taapsee Pannu's character in Baby.

The 2015 action spy thriller was appreciated for its content and slick direction by Neeraj. Akshay's performance was lauded, too. Taapsee's 20-minute action packed role was also well received, which prompted the makers to come out with the upcoming film.


Taapsee plays the titular role in the film, essaying the role of an undercover agent and has undergone rigorous training sessions to learn martial arts in order to perform action-packed sequences.

Shivam Nair directorial, 'Naam Shabana' will see the return of some of the much-loved stars of 'Baby,' including Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Danny Denzongpa, and also introduces Manoj Bajpayee and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles.

Gulshan Kumar and Cape of Good Films presents, A Plan C Studios production Neeraj Pandey's Naam Shabana directed by Shivam Nair is all set to release on 31st March 2017.
