Around 100 female police officers of various ranks and divisions attended the screening at a multiplex in Connaught Place.
'Naam Shabana' is India's first spin-off based on Taapsee Pannu's character in the much acclaimed 'Baby.' The film has powerful special appearances by some of the most loved characters in 'Baby,' including Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Danny Denzongpa.
The film showcases Taapsee a.k.a. Shabana's journey into becoming a spy, her rigorous training sessions and all the struggles she's faced and how she overcomes.
The team of Naam Shabana wanted to celebrate the courage of our nation's female officers and salute them for the immense hard work they put into their jobs and hence held the first screening of the movie for the women officers who are the actual heroes of our country. In a way, the Naam Shabana team wanted to salute all the "Shabana's" who show utmost bravery and put our country before anything else.
The movie evoked incredible reactions of the female officers in the screening and hugely connected with their patriotic side.
