Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the nationwide box office collection of the movie.

'Begum Jaan' hit the screen along with Hollywood release ' The Fate of the Furious', and opened with an occupancy rate of 15 per cent during the morning but received a better response of public in evening shows having collected Rs 3.94 crore on Friday.
The movie talks about fight of a group of prostitutes who defy the governments trying to destroy their home so that they can make a division between the countries.
The film is an adaptation of Srijit Mukherji's Bengali movie ' Rajkahini'.
The flick stars Vidya Balan, Ila Arun, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Rajit Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey, Naseerruddin Shah and Ashish Vidyarthi.
